Achieve your energy transition ambitions

This two-and-a-half-day programme explores the ins and outs of developing and managing programmes of energy transition projects with clear ambitions but also the challenges in defining strategy, roadmap and feasibility and business case.

The course is developed in cooperation with the New Energy Business School. It is intended for managers, reporting to boardroom level, with financial, project management and organisational knowledge.

A variety of topics are covered, including politics, governance structures and finance mechanisms. We navigate the complexities of possible bottlenecks and examine concepts such as stakeholder management for energy transition projects.

About the course

Through interactive discussions, case studies, group exercises and role plays, participants develop practical skills in recognising and tackling potential bottlenecks when transitioning to a different energy system. You’ll gain invaluable insights and practical knowledge about the political and corporate governance landscape and of the technical options to meet the transition goals. Besides this, insight is given in the financial implications as well as the financing of energy transition projects.

Experts

You will be guided by Royal HaskoningDHV’s own experts ‘who have been there’. They have experienced the challenges of a changing political, societal, financial and stakeholder environment and have navigated through minefields of conflicting expectations, moving targets and changes in planning and deadlines.
